Here at Dallas we seem to have a micro climate and looking back over the years we have been doing the Dig Out we have only really had one day of rain and even then we managed to put everyone under cover. So for the optimists that turned out, it was an excellent day, with more than enough stall holders to spend a few hours rummaging. We noticed that more customers had come further this year from as far as South Wales and Ely, Cambridge and they were not disappointed with their bargain buys. One lucky chap found a NOS Ford cylinder head still in the wrapping and another two guys managed to snaffle a couple of Early mint Jeep shovels for a bargain price of – I promised I wouldn’t mention the price – needless to say the smiles on their faces say it all! Anyway if you want to see why the Dig Out is so popular why not drop in on the next one, August the 9th. It is probably one of the friendliest shows you can ever visit. Hope to see you!
