1954 Austin Champ – For Sale
The design of the champ was concieved by Alec Issigonis, for the age of the vehicle It was built with many advanced engineering features, such as fully independent torsion bar suspension, rack and pinion steering , 5 speed gearbox with reserve in the rear axle, which meant that you had 5 forward and 5 reverse gears, as well as 2 and 4 wheel drive.
This particular example was one of 12,000 built between 1952 to 1956, It was manufactured at the Austin Motor Company’s Factory in Coften Hackett, Worcestershire and entered British Army service on the 08 – 12 -1954.
It was last used by the Territorial Army It was struck off from service in October 1966, Sold at Ruddington Auction in October 1967 and received its first civilian registration in May 1970.
This Champ is in very good condition, in the past It has had a brand new crated Rolls Royce B40 2838cc engine fitted, It has been well looked after in recent years, with recent service work including replacement of the brake master cylinder, rear brake work, points/plugs, Ignition coil, fuel pump and carburettor.
Spare parts sold with the vehicle include, 24 Volt Coil, oil filter, instrument cluster, fuel pump, condenser and spark plugs.
The Champ also comes with extras such as Jack, starting handle, first aid box and spot lamp.

1943 Willys MB – SOLD
Original WW2 Willys Chassis, complete with original chassis tag.
The chassis number matches the original dash data plate, that has been fitted to the inside of the glove box.
The Jeep is fitted with a Hotchkiss Body tub in very good condition.
The vehicle has a Hotchkiss M201 Engine, that has just been fitted with a new clutch, a complete new manifold , new exhaust system, new carburettor, a new air cleaner Assy, which has been upgraded with a K&N air filter element.
It starts and runs exceptionally well, with strong performance on the road, It has good oil pressure and stable running temperature.
The 6 Volt electrical system benefits from having a professionally fitted complete new wiring harness, a new battery and electronic voltage regulator kit, It turns over and starts very well.
The Gearbox has been rebuilt, with good positive selection, the transfercase handbrake has also been renewed.
The Jeep sits on a brand new set of combat split wheel rims, along with Good Year bar grip tyres, fitted with new inner tubes.
The canvas is in excellent condition and is supplied with a canvas top.
The restoration work on the Jeep has been carried out by a local Military vehicle enthusiast who has restored several vehicles.
Work by Dallas Autos includes, the fitment of new combat wheel rims, new steering bell crank overhaul, new pedal shaft bracket, new brake pedal bush, transmission overhaul, fitment of new air cleaner with K&N Kit.

This Ford GPW was purchased by ourselves from the renowned Joe Lyndhurst military vehicle collection.
We then sold the Jeep to a retired motor vehicle engineer, who has owned and maintained the Vehicle since 1991 to present.
This particular Jeep was build on 26th February 1945, It is a full ‘matching numbers’ example, which means it retains its original chassis, original engine and original dash data plates and all numbers match.
This GPW has its original ACM2 body tub with stamped number, which dates the body to February 1945.
The body has original Ford wings, original Grille and original bonnet.
Inside the body is fitted with Ford drivers, passengers and rear seat.
The dash has an original late model 63MPH King Seeley speedometer, a original Stewart Warner short needle fuel gauge and Block ‘F’ Ammeter.
The original Ford engine number is clearly stamped and also has a casting date of February 1945.

Details of the Jeep are as follows.
The Chassis, engine, gearbox, transfercase and axles are all Ford Scripted.
The Engine has been subject to a total strip down to bare block, pressure tested, with new pistons, new timing chain, new bearings, New Old Stock oil pump and valve seats fitted for unleaded fuel.
The gearbox has been stripped, cleaned and fitted with new bearings and seals.
The Jeep has original split combat wheel rims with bar grip tyres.
The Body has been restored and new panels fitted where required, The front wings are original Ford GPW with ‘F’ Scripts.
This GPW has many original Ford Script parts including, Ford Pintle hook, Ford Seats, Ford Handbrake handle, Ford Fuel filter, Ford Bell crank, there are too many to list them all.
The Jeep has had a new 6 Volt battery recently fitted, It has a cloth type wiring harness installed, and an original Spartan horn is also fitted.
A new radiator has also been fitted along with new hoses and fresh anti-freeze.

This Jeep is in excellent condition, It has never been through the French Army rebuild programme, the rear chassis rail has the 221xxxx number, denoting that it was a new Jeep built in 1962.
The Jeep was originally purchased by ourselves directly from the French Army.
The vehicle still has Its original glove box data plate with the Army serial chassis number, which matches the front chassis leg number.
The Body and Chassis are in superb condition and are also clearly stamped showing the original ‘H’ body number and the 18xxx Hotchkiss chassis number that can be traced to a 1962 build.
The Jeep also has the original engine with correct Hotchkiss Data plate.
This is a very clean example, with excellent canvas and pioneer tools.
It also has a full set of Kleber original equipment tyres which are now almost impossible to find.
